My current view is my son getting facial surgery

Looks like we are all living the dream
Brother! We'll pray. I've not been around enough to know if you've shared if that's because of injury or something else. But, I'm asking the Father to care for you, your son, and your whole family!

Just not the way the NBA thinks. Patrick Williams was FSU's 6th man last year and averaged 9 points and 4 rebounds. He was selected 4th.

Many guys need 2-3 years to develop into consistent players, and the NBA can be the training ground for that, too where all they do is practice.

Exactly. It all depends on what the NBA execs conclude is keeping a player from dominating in college. If the athletic traits are there and some basketball IQ and they think the player will work hard then they really don't care about college production. What they know is that after being drafted that player will have access to 24/7 top notch facilities, trainers and coaches. They do not have to limit time like in college. They do not have to spend time in class and studying. The NBA is very confident in what they can do to improve the skills needed to be successful in the NBA. They have the time and resources to fix Keon's loose handles and inconsistent jumpshot. They have no chance to transplant Keon's quick twitch muscles, height and length into a another player that already has good ballhandling skills and shooting ability.

Moseley had 2 career pics and is playing in San Fran. If you are 6’ and can run you will get a shot in the league.

AT is 6’ and can run. The NFL just doesn’t care about college production.
and he's not afraid of contact, and is a decent enough tackler, good, not great, ball skills.....i don't know that he's a 1-4 round pick, but i could see him getting picked up in later rounds/udfa.

I 100% agree..I don't see it. If they were good enough to blow millions on right now, we would be beating the crap out of everybody.
eh. not necessarily. the one and done guys, they aren't all Zion Williamson. if you go back and look, there's a good many of them that never really amounted to much in the nba or didn't make it.

the one and done player is usually about physical gifts, skill set, high ceilings and potential, not immediate impact....

They care. If you produce/excel in college it’s an indicator at the next level. But the scouts always footnote athletic ability and dimensions and coaching impacts. The next level took a flyer on Coleman and Moseley. Worked them out and signed them as UDFA’s. Not exactly a risk or heavy investment.

Wasn't invited to the combined, wasn't drafted and only saw action in 1 game his first year in the league. 49ers have been able to sign him to 1 year deals since he entered the league, his largest being less than 700k

The NFL does care about college production, but when they can get production for pennies compared to what they would have to pay a drafted guy they will.
