That’s not really modern day basketball anymore. Your big guys have to have the ability to hit a jumper.
I’m not talking running some old school offense. Think Bagley from Duke a few years back, Aldridge etc. guys like that. That can shoot elbow jumpers and are actually athletic enough to put the ball on the ground a few times and strong enough to go straight up and not have to constantly shoot fall always like Fulkerson.

Those are very few and far between like 5* corners in football. Guys that big with skills like that also don’t stay in college very long. It would be nice to have one for a year or two. Hopefully the Huntley kid reclassifies and we can land him for next year to go along with Chandler.

I think having a true PG in Chandler will do wonders for us too. I’d love for KJ and JS to return but next years post play will be abysmal... we needed to land Jabari Smith this year.

Is it me or is almost every basketball game we play a blowout one way or another? Not many exciting nail biters at all this year.

MSU, Ark and OM have basically been the only close games. I think Colorado and Cincy were below 10 points but def weren’t nail biters

Are we only recruiting 3 stars now? Seems like a bunch of new 3 star offers.
The recruiting sites are far from perfect. OL is probably the most difficult for them to rank. MOST really good OL's develop once they get to college. Few face the competition or receive the coaching to be really good in HS. Because OL's do not usually play in very advanced O's in HS, it is next to impossible for the recruiting sites to evaluate them mentally. The mental part is more important for an OL than any other position except QB.

In addition, the best OL recruiters are looking for specific "good bones" that they think they can develop.... or they're competing for the relative few that are almost sure bets.

-Fair on coaching under Pruitt

This is why I didn't get on the fire Chaney wagon. I don't believe he got to do what he had in mind to do. As well as the other coaches. Anyone who let's Pruitt HC again need their head examined. This also why I believe things will be different as we move forward. We need JH to be successful and I hope his high octane offensive is here for a long time. GBO!!

I was joking.

The fact of the matter is, is with the looming sanctions, terrible state of program, and this generation of players only knowing Tennessee as being a joke it’s going to be hard to land the highly touted players right now. We are going to have to overachieve with what we have then begin landing the more sought after recruits. It’s going to take time and a lot of it

Thank you for actually posting something besides smart @ss jibberish. Seems most people want to make fun and not have real conversations.
