No..it is just how I honestly feel about it. It is not anybodys fault, but it will always be true that they destroyed two backups, and it made a big difference...that is just not as impressive to me.

Look...I am not going to scream bloody murder if KR gets hired, but I am kind of meh about it for the same reasons that other people have already brought up.

I would rather them go after Gillespie or another guy of that type. I have ready said that today, but I am not going to pitch a fit if he does get the job. I can see the good points too.

I don't think this should minimize what you are trying to say, and I'm all for Kacy to be our DC, but in the interest of accuracy Shaq Barrett and JPP are OLBs. It's possible they spend time training with the DL too, but they rarely line up with their hand in the dirt like most DL. But Suh, Vea, and Gholston were outstanding and a big reason the LBs were so successful the last 2 years both in pass rush and against the run.

Conklin is well respected and will likely get a G5 HC gig soon - I don't see why he would want this job right now.

This job is a much bigger gamble for an up and comer. If he flops, it could potentially cripple his career. If Rodgers flops, he could be back in the NFL coaching DL the very next day.

Why are we acting like we’re completely gutted at LB because of Henry and JJP leaving? We have more talent there than 4/5 of the league recruiting wise. The right coach is gonna find 3-4 guys there and develop them into studs.

yes - GB was without 5x All-Pro LT David Bahktiari who tore his ACL three weeks prior which shifted their RT to LT and had a backup RT in. I’d argue it had big implications on the game.

I honestly think it's all a crap shoot right now. We need some coaches to frankly come out and shock the world (similar to Bob Stoops at Oklahoma circa 99/00 when they had been dead for a decade or Matt Campbell at Iowa State). Its a sad truth, but that where we are. That's also why I'm ok with a young up and comer like the DC from Louisiana. I think our comeback will be from a coaching staff we have the lowest expectations for.
