Good Lord, y’all. They’re wild (species) crocus, probably Crocus tommasinianus. Crocus anyway. One of the very first bulbs to flower each year.

No telling how many decades they’ve been in this patch of yard. They’ve spread out from some originals in a foundation bed off the front porch. (Pretty picture below is from a catalog)
