I would much rather have a guy like Gillespie than Steele. I know recruiting would be better with a Steele led defensive staff, but I really think scheme, coaching and play calling would be overall better with a guy like Gillespie against todays offenses.

I do find it odd that the Ohio State media don't have anything definitive yet on Washington. I can see why the university wouldn't make a public statement if he stayed, but their fans are anxious about him leaving and their $9.95'ers would want to give them an answer if they had one.
