How much could you trust a guy that just attempted a coup at his last spot and has VFL ties to try one again?

Genuine question, because trust is vital in these relationships.

He’s very exhausted. And if he doesn’t start eating and putting on weight they’ll be forced to insert a feeding tube. He’s in rough shape but good spirits. The latest MRI showed the slightest most tiny shrinkage so we’re resting in that victory for now. The staff is great my brother said. They have a teacher at the treatment center that keeps him up to date on school work. She’s tender, yet not a pushover. She pushes him. Thanks for asking!

Winning recruiting has done nothing for us. We still barely beat teams like USCe and Mizzou (and get our azz beat by them on occasion). We still lose to UK and a crappy ARK team. We out-recruit all of those teams on an annual basis. And we still get spanked by FL who has similar recruiting averages as us.

I know we need the Jimmy and Joes but for the love of all that is holy, just. bring. me. wins.

Do more with less, then the less will become more.

Maybe they commit somewhere else because we are so behind, but I still think we land some if the offense goes from 0 to 8. But don't put all your eggs in one basket. Recruit kids from everywhere. Recruits like to go out of state now. I still don't get why you have to concentrate on state lines.

No worries Bass. When we dropping 35ppg and win 8 games next year, we will land them. Let the negativity calm down and win some games. We will be good to go.

He's going to have to Barnes this thing. That's our only hope. Recruiting is harder than ever with Dabo at Clemson, Kirby at GA, Saban at Bama, Kiffin at Ole Miss, and now Brown at NC. Not to mention OU and OSU coming down and taking players also.

With all of that competition from elite teams and NC, it's going to be tough for us when we've been down for so long and we have all of this toxicity around our program, all of these negative headlines, and the looming NCAA stuff. That said, we will finish in the top 20 every year because we are TN. Hopefully top 15. That's still more talent that half the conference, and everyone in the east outside of the top 2. Let him Rick Barnes this thing. Develop the players that we have, overachieve, and the elite recruits will start coming.

That's our only hope to getting back imo

I understand that, but right now, we can't go into GA and take the top talent with Kirby there. Heck, we can't even go to NC right now with Mac signing the top in state talent there. So it is imperative that we do the best we can to keep our in state kids close to hope.

Pretty sure Jancek is not a DC candidate

I am not counting us out yet. I think Simpson REALLY wants to be a Vol but we just have to give him a reason to believe that’s the best choice. If we can land him and Hayden I think the others will jump in. IF Heupel can get that Offense scoring 35+ per game anything is possible and we could win 8. That’s a big IF.

Exactly. Like I said the other night, we have got to do the 80s before we can get to the 90s. Let's relish the role of underdogs that find a way to win.

The problem is no blue chip QB waits until well into the season of his senior year before committing. All the big programs have their guys locked up by then.
