Rumor has it that Hubbs and AP got a Lil talking to from ol Dannydub

Right after the JH hire and presser they acknowledged DW talked to them and said they were not the problem and that he understood that gathering information was their job and that his focus was more internal to the administration. There may be more but this is what they reported.

Lol everyone pissed that there are barely any leaks out of UT regarding the hiring process.....

“That’s how it should be by the way” we don’t need to know every little detail because that is how information gets distorted etc.

We find out when the University actually makes the hire not when they are talking to every possible candidate. (Again as it should be)

Suck it up buttercups. This means the UT Administration is finally being ran properly the way it should of been ran. (Brighter pastures ahead)
This seems like a false equivalency to me, but what do I know?

Would like to share something with y’all that’s In the works and I’m really proud of....

I’m working with a couple guys from back home on developing a “blog” through Twitter that Is completely related to film break downs. We’re hoping to have some former VFLs on and walk us through the calls and what happened. Hopefully if it gets off the ground and people enjoy it we can do some live “watch parties” once the season arrives. The goal is to make it as interactive as possible and help teach vol fans of all ages, backgrounds, and knowledge levels.
Sounds cool man. If I had twitter I'd definitely be watching this. Volnation is the extent of my social media though. My addiction to this is bad enough.

Let's say it is COVID. Do they do anything to treat it, or do you just suffer through until it's gone?
They didn't give me anything. Just Said to take Vit C, D, Zinc and Elderberry. I already take Vit D every day so I ordered some Elderberry gummies that also have Vit C and zinc in them.

I also drank green tea, and would squeeze fresh lemon in it with some honey. Good on the throat.

Good article on 247 about heupel recruiting. UCF guys that covered him say he is actually a very good recruiter and has good classes. They said you can’t look at the ranking as 4-5 star kids are hesitant to come to group of 5 no matter who you are. If they get power 5 offer then it’s hard for them to pass up. They used a Brock Purdy as example. They said he was deep in that one. Thst was his guy and purdy couldn’t pass up the power 5 offer and has done very well at Iowa St. they talked about how he has never had a bad QB anywhere. Nobody was salivating over Bradford or Landry Jones in recruiting and he made them stars that went to NFL. They said Trevor Knight was all but a lock to TX AM but heupel got him to Oklahoma.

summary they said we shouldn’t worry about QB as he will set his sights on a guy and go get him but is also good at keeping a few guys in play if it falls through but whoever it is will be good based on his track record.

Also said he likes tall WRs that can get the 50/50 ball vertical. Hyatt and Wideman will like that

Just want a quality D staff. Period. Don't care if it is Steele or somebody else. Just no more internal politics and back room deals that undermine the program. Let's play Vol football again before I die. I'd rather talk schematics, player performances, play calling, winning/losing and such.

about what? dude cant have total control ober every detail and expect people to fall in line. AP works for Vq, not IMG. Lot's of folks' livelihoods depend on reporting on HIS athletics, which, employs him. In turn, creates interest and revenue.

Dictatorships never work, ever. That **** will tire quickly.

Aren’t they university employees?
I thought 247 and Rivals made their money off of monthly subscription. If they aren't reporting all the info they have they will lose money.

Everyone gets dragged when they leave Knoxville, but if you make these guys mad, it just happens a little quicker.

Awesome! I love to see people enjoying creation. We are planning a big NoCal-southern Oregon trip for the last week of September with our daughter and son-in-law. Gonna fly to Sacramento then over to Yosemite NP, Lake Tahoe area, Lassen Volcanic NP and Mt Shasta area, then hit several big waterfalls as we go up and across to Crater Lake NP, then over to the coast, and then down to Redwood NP area, then down the coast to San Fran hitting several Cali state parks and back to Sacramento and fly home. I hope everything is back to semi normal by then.
Were working on planning a two week+ trip next year out west with our boys. They've never been, will be 12 and 14. I've been to wyoming, yellowstone several times on trip and hunting, but there are other places we want to see. My wife and I have often discussed retiring to somehwere in Colorado.

My wife and I visited almost those same places during my college days, except we rented a car at the Alcoa airport. We didn't see Mt. Shasta but have been to Crater Lake a couple of times, which is amazing. We also did Colorado, and lots of the Utah national and state parks you went to (also in a rental car). The rental car company eventually stopped allowing people to have unlimited mileage and when I asked them why they said people were renting for a couple of weeks and returning with 6,000 or 7,000 miles on them.
Jerry Garcia died while we were driving down Highway 1 and we just happened to have reservations at a hotel in San Fran. on the day of his memorial at Golden Gate Park. Haight-Ashbury was just as I had visualized it would be in the 60s with hippies coming in painted school buses from Colorado, Oregon, Washington.
That's really cool. I love to travel, if I could figure out how to survive financially, I would spend the rest of my life just traveling around the Americas.

You can still get unlimited miles from most of the big rental companies, but it costs you. We didn't last year, but we usually rent a car from Enterprise when we travel. It is reassuring to know that if you break down in the middle of no where, you can just make a call, and get another car and go on without worrying about getting your car fixed.

Body aches and extreme exhaustion. What causes that? No fever, no trouble breathing, none of the other things I hear associated with COVID.

Hey you may want to have your thyroid checked out... depending on your age, you can develop hyper or hypo thyroidism -- your thyroid is working too much or too little and symptoms can be aches and exhaustion...
