I really think after years of watching him coach in games like this..That RB does it on purpose, I think he uses games like this to make a point with his team.Guys....regular season doesn’t matter. Stay in the top 20... gear up for the tourneys. This team is good. Rick just needs to take the handcuffs off and let this team run and out athlete teams like that. We played into ole miss gameplan. They wanted it to be slow and sloppy
Too bad he can’t talk this sense into divinner or @de1conleyMaybe we need to hire Coach Hyatt. This guy continues to inspire VolNation.
This graph does a solid job of showing you just how much talent we've wasted since 2000. We arguably had a top 5 roster in the country every year from 2000-2010.
5 star recruits by team, 2000-2020
It'll tank once Brooks/ Brown are released.Good reminder for why today is so boring. 16th ranked class following a 3-7 season. Got some need and some absolute studs.

That todd Orlando defense was a big reason they had such a good first year. It caused them to have to give him a raise because Notre dame and LSU tried to steal him. I think he was the highest paid dc for a year. It didn't fail because of the system. It failed because everything started to deteriorate under Herman's poor leadership. Orlando went to USC and improved their total team defense by 40 yards per game and .3 TDs per game. The year before he got to Texas they gave up 449 yards per game. He improved that to 367 in his first year which is incredibly low in the big 12. Second year was still pretty good at 394. 3rd year was his only bad year and he went to USC and improved their defense. So there's another major program running it. So in his 4 years in major programs, 3 were really good. Nice try though.Well well well just 24 hours this board did their best to convince me this 3-3-5 defense wasn’t rare and was a successful new age popular concept. Heck even @Ulysees E. McGill called me stupid for being skeptical of the scheme.
well we finally found a big program using the 3-3-5 in Texas and we found a fail. Texas fired Todd Orlando after 2 bad years where his defense ranked 58th and 65th.
@Sleegro i am betting Texas folks still had a poor taste in their mouths for the 3-3-5 and let Sark know it when Arnett was involved in that DC search
