That doesn’t determine a floor. Virginia in 2017 had two losses, one by 1 point in OT. Won the ACC, best defense in the country. 4 guys signed NBA contracts. Lost to UMBC in round one. You’re gonna tell me they had a low floor because they got upset vs UMBC and VT?

So allegedly hank knows there's 2 names for DC. One of them is ash. Coincidentally the same day that is revealed, Arnett publicly says he's staying in Starkville. Which may mean he was the other name 🤔. I'm gonna give useless crystal ball prediction that it's ash. Only thing I know for sure is "Staying in Starkville" sounds like a sad country song.

I can read people write negative comments on the football team all day long but going into the basketball forum after an L just makes me cringe. So many uninformed posters come out of nowhere.

I think that's his point though, UVA had a really high floor and the UMBC game can be written off as a fluke. This team has had multiple occasions like tonight on the season, it isn't a fluke its what they are. I also agree we could be a sexy upset pick especially if we land below the 3 line. Give us one of those mid majors that can sit in a zone and light it up from beyond. TN has an off night and boom, done.

He said we have a low floor because we can get bounced in the first round. But that’s literally every team in basketball every year. Any team can lose early. UVA also lost to a below average VT that year. We could also get hot on offense and make a EE run that doesn’t suddenly mean we had a high floor.

I think our elite defense and very talented Fr make this team have a decent floor. Is it high? No, but still a tourney team and losing to OM doesn’t change that

I agree with his take though. If we get upset early it wouldn't really be a fluke that's just what this team is.

I could be remembering the wrong kid, but seems like I recall him having a real good all-star game a few years back. Not sure how well he's played at Oklahoma.

But I'd love to steal someone from them for all they've stole from us this off season.

So on the Roc Taylor situation someone help me out here. So the previous staff wasn’t going to sign him is what’s being reported. If that’s the case, then why wasn’t his offer pulled much earlier and why didn’t he decommit earlier?

Seems to me Pruitt and the staff could have told him he wasn’t gonna be here and that would have given him more time to explore options.

JMO, he was a fall back option. I don't know that for a fact, but I think they were stringing him along, and no one had the common courtesy to be straight with the kid. But as the only holdover unsigned commit we had, I think he should have been handled sooner than the say before NSD. It's unfortunate it didn't work out that way.

He’s been pretty good for OU, but he racks up penalties like crazy. Dude talks nonstop and is apparently deaf when it comes to whistles.

Started at safety as a true freshman tho, but played mostly nickel since. He’s got lots of talent, just needs to be more disciplined
