We are 0-1 over the last year. That has more bearing 2 years ago, 3 years ago....20, etc.

Last year will have no real bearing on this year, especially with a whole new staff. The "unless proven otherwise" qualifier makes no sense. I guess you would consider us losing to Georgia State this year "unless proven otherwise." That is language for the Florida, Georgia, and Alabama games but not Kentucky, who we have historically beaten for years. There are reasons why we are 33-3 in the last 36. We have more talent.

Our 27 point loss last year to UK was the worst loss to them since they beat us by 27 in 1935. They have only beaten us worse than that ONE other time...the first meeting in 1893 was 56-0. Lol.

If the last 15 years should have taught us anything it is no matter what talent we have, what coaches we bring in, what scheme we run....teams that are supposed to beat us always do and teams we are supposed to beat always have a punchers chance, at least, against us.

This is our reality.

So yes - until we beat them this year, I'm counting it as a loss.

It's the shiney new coach smell. In 3 years we will be looking for a trade-in again.

The only for sure losses imo are Bama, UGA, and UF. All the others are on the table. Doesn’t mean we are going to win them all obviously, but they aren’t in the shouldn’t or can’t win category.

Pruitt beat their best team in that stretch, and Dooley and Butch had terrible final years and both lost by 3 when they had multiple chances to win.

I actually think we are going to win 7-8 games this year and get everyone excited but it’s going to be the best season we have in the next 5 years. I see 2021 as the best team JH will have here

This is the first time ever I remember not even caring about the DC hire. In years past I would be glued to VN looking for updates. Now I find myself forgetting we still don't have one.

I’m saying we go 8-4 next year. IF we can put up close to 40 points per game and that’s a big IF. Then anything is possible. College football is an offensive game now.
