Haynesworth calling for boycott...

Consider Lovie Smith - hired as a pro HC twice (Bears and Bucs) and fired both times. Hired as HC at Illinois and got fired there too (I'll grant you that it is easy to fail at Illinois). So that is three HC opportunities. Just got hired as DC by Texans. Lots of opportunities for Lovie Smith.

There are two AA head basketball coaches in the SEC right now. There have been FIVE Black head football coaches in the SEC in the recent past. All lost their jobs for the same reason white coaches lose their positions. Lack of SUCCESS, NOT quantity of melanin in their skin. College sports contests and outcomes are, by definition, dependent on merit (or meritocracy—since you seem so fond of the word).

And Frank Martin's correct name is Francisco. His Cuban parents shortened their last name to Martin.

Stereotyping white people with white privilege is using the same broad brush of racism used against American minorities during Jim Crow. White people have nothing to do with their skin color, can't change it, yet are being tarred as inferior even babies in their car seats are said to be privileged for no more reason than their race. Many Americans feel superior and look down on others based on they're being magically assigned as privileged based on their skin color. We're seeing it here. Prove a white preschooler is privileged over his minority peers in his/her class. White privilege is a feeling, an abstract. It only exists in the minds of people who for reasons of their own need to disparage and knock those they consider having it using a stereotype. If it's a feeling, it exists within the person hosting those feelings. The person or hosts needs to own that feeling as they would hate, bigotry, and other negative feelings towards others. Right now it's popular to spew the stereotype of white privilege, that is until people logically begin to understand and approach it and teach as they would any other stereotype towards a people of a race many of whom do not fall under nor exhibit any of the tenets of the definition at all. Some black people are dumb. Some white people are dumb. Not all people in a race are dumb. Some white people are privileged. Some black people are privileged. Not all people in a race are privileged. Get the XXXk out of here witn that illogical white privilege racist BS, it's just as offensive as the stuff the KKK spews about blacks and Jews.

Boycotts in general are "USUALLY" a waste of energy that makes a small group feel good for a short time. Classic example was Chik Filet, they wanted this huge boycott because of the owners beliefs. The cars were lined up around the parking lots and out in the streets in an anti-boycott so what did it prove, nothing other than people like Chik Filet more than their issue and they agree more with the owner's right to believe what he chose's.

I disagree with this premise. If the overwhelming majority of white people are in leadership positions and making the decisions, how is it the same for everyone?
So in your opinion the overwhelming majority of white people are racist and that’s why there aren’t a lot of black candidates?

I want to be very specific about what I personally think Mr. Haynesworth . He is an idiot and clinically & mentally not prepared for life. Think that’s it!!!!!
Agreed. I can't understand what Brittany Jackson-Kardashian ever saw in him......unless it was something to do with his "shoe size".

Just because Tee won a national championship at UT doesn't mean he is qualified to be the HC here. He should stop crying and stirring up trouble and go get a head coaching job at a smaller school and work his way up to an SEC offer.

Haynesworth needs to STFU and stay out of it. What has he done for UT since he left for the NFL? Nothing.

I’ve seen white boys get jobs with much less than his OC/ AHC experience so miss me with this bull💩
I’ll start off by saying I generally appreciate Your posts and information as well as a different perspective than most offer. But let’s use a different phrase than “white boys”. It’s offensive and we’re all better than that. Maybe the whole hiring process was a smoke screen, dunno. They said they would hire someone with HC experience and they did. Reality is that most of our wants did not want our situation. Hopefully a few years with CJH will change that...
