Breakings news! We know nothing!

SIAP here or elsewhere, but been a busy day all around
tl;dr

We know there are x number of Level 1 violations, but I haven't heard any specifics except the McD bags with cash, which I think somebody maybe debunked. It's hard to tell what those are, but the specifics will come to light at some point (and if they already have, I just haven't had time to follow everything). It's information/misinformation overload.

*IF* we have offered anybody and been forthright about what those violations are with a prospective hire, it literally might scare a candidate away once those come to light in the future, which they might not do until any sanctions are meted out.

I don't know.

If that's the case, we could do a lot worse than Kevin Steele to serve in the interim. He wouldn't be my first, second, or third choice, but the group wanting him to be HC led the Malzahn coup. A buddy of mine who is a lifetime Auburn fan was all-in on Steele taking over down there.

But I don't want that to be true. I want this to be a great hire. That might not be possible, which is what windy has been saying for a couple of days.

I have to wonder if even coordinators would want to come here not knowing the sanctions. I mean what if we are truly hammered. It would be tough to coach and recruit players when there isn't much to play for in the years to come.

Will just have to put mo money in the McDonald’s bags.
