Yeah, I haven't agreed with or liked any of the hires we've made since Fulmer. Didn't like Kiffin, at the time he was a terrible candidate. Dooley on paper was also an awful candidate. Butch seemed solid, but still felt like he hadn't proven anything on his own. Then he just got worse and worse as things went on. Really hated the Pruitt hire, but tried to get behind him cause Fulmer was the AD and I thought he would have the universities best interest in mind...that was wrong though.

I said the last two aren't close because they are on another level now. They won two national championships with similar classes to us.

Kiffin will make it personal and try to hang 70 on UT this year. I thought Tn was hiring a HC from offense side of the ball and then you hear Franklins name. Tn is going to do things only Tn does.

The euphoria of a Tennessee coaching search is nearing its end. This is the point of highest hope before reality closes in. Enjoy these last few fleeting moments. We hoped for a choice cut filet from Pampas, but we’re getting a hotdog from that street vendor with the weird hand.

I pray this hire is someone absolutely no one has mentioned or at least even remotely believed would be the guy. I want it to shut up all the doubters and the speculators. I want it to be a mic drop moment of surprise the same way he was hired.

I want DW to roll in there and announce Brian Daboll, Kyle Whittingham, David Shaw, Eric Bienemy, or someone along those lines. I know these aren’t all names to love but I want surprise around a hire people can go well damn there is a lot of upside here with good backgrounds.
