I think we're likely on our 2nd or 3rd choice with how much time has passed. I'm struggling to think of reasons why Franklin wouldn't have been leaked by this point if we were basically in agreement over the weekend. I told a friend of mine if I was betting this. I'd put my money on Tony Elliott. He's been the one consistently reported name through all of this. Not who I want, per se, but who I think is most likely at this point.

I've got popcorn and champagne ready though if DW throws a curveball.

Goes both ways. Those who want a Franklin hire have been "preachy" too. I do not like Franklin and do not want him as our head coach, but I don't cheer for the coach, I cheer for the team. I'll continue to cheer for the team. Even if that means I'm ultimately hoping Franklin succeeds. But I still won't like the guy.

This. If he is the one it would be stupid to hope that he fails. If that were to happen, we're just in a much deeper hole. I love my university more than any coach they will bring here.
