Sure, but that's not doable if someone is hired this morning. There's no way you could move cross-country and have lawyers double-check your MOU, before you got the ground running the week before NSD. I expect there were quite a few zoom interviews Friday and Saturday.

It's a multi-day thing.

Coach meets with AD/chancellor/whoever else in neutral location. Contract is hammered out, legalese, signatures. All squared away. Coach goes back home to his family, calls a team meeting, tells them he's leaving. Flies in early the next day, late morning/early afternoon presser.
 
If it comes down to Will Healy, Scott Satterfield or Tony Elliot; who would you select? Planning for that and hoping for a more proven / winning head coach.

I believe that all three have the potential to be successful here, but I think I would choose Satterfield. I would have been happy if we had hired him from Appy st a few years ago.
