The executive order was entitled “Promoting COVID-19 Safety in Domestic and International Travel.” Section 5 ‘International Travel’ subsection ‘e’ the order read:

“International Certificates of Vaccination or Prophylaxis. Consistent with applicable law, the Secretary of State, the Secretary of HHS, and the Secretary of Homeland Security (including through the Administrator of the TSA), in coordination with any relevant international organizations, shall assess the feasibility of linking COVID-19 vaccination to International Certificates of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP) and producing electronic versions of ICVPs.”

The order also called for “agencies may impose additional public health measures for domestic travel.”

Biden has a plan which makes me feel somewhat better. He’s going to take us from 1M vaccines a day under the Trump plan to 7M vaccines per week under his plan. Should be a game changer.

When the WHO backtracked on their masks dont help stance they provided a study that showed how you had to have multiple layers of your old drawers on your face for it to provide any real protection. It was a pretty messed up message I think so it didn’t get pushed much. This is just the latest dumbassery in that line. If people want to really protect themselves they need to put a plastic bag over their head with an air tight seal at the neckline.

Excellent point. Case numbers are currently many times higher (10-20x in some areas) than when shutdowns were mandated, but now it's the right time to open things back up.

We are well past the 25 million. In my inner circle I know more that had it and never got tested, than had it and had a test.

There are two things going on here:

1) there needs to be balance
2) everyone is more optimistic now

The 10x number was probably accurate in the spring and early summer. Probably closer to 3-5x now with the amount of tests being done.
