Phil and Jeremy turned it into a pile of ashes. Which is a good part of why we may have to hire a coordinator.

I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed but I do remember hearing DW during the press conference asking for volnation to be positive. Just because somebody posts doesn't mean its true. We all have our picks but we aint getting paid to pick our next coach. Regardless of who DW marches out in the press conference we all need to roll with the guy and give him a chance. Given DW's track record im gonna get behind the hire and our vols before I pass judgment.....

People falling for this either if you want him or not are being premature. There is nothing from any credible reliable source that says this is a done deal. Not one name has been attached to anything, no way I buy any hiring without a credible source. Lowe and Feldman will still probably be the ones to watch. GBO!!!!

No idea if its Elliott or not but...
1) Highly, highly respected as a coach and individual
2) Clemson's running backs n now offense n general has been pretty darn good with him coaching both.
3) He turned down 2 OC offers n the NFL after Clemson lost to OSU this year b the semi's, which he missed btw due to covid protocol.
4) He virtually guarantees we sign Ty Simpson n the 2021 class.
5) Just pointing out facts b4 the haters riot lol.

Hiring a coach with HC experience doesn't guarantee anything. Hiring the right coach at the right time that can put together a great staff and develop players is what's most important.

Players will be ecstatic about this hire i think. A big name as far as assistants go. Won two recent nattys. Plays a wide open offense & has sent a lot of players to the pros. Tee stays on too & probably Graham. Steele as DC too.
Solid staff on the field. Can probably get Elliott for $3.75 million & save money for staff & university. Contract probably real incentive laced for him.

I like the hire if done most head coaches just don't impress me we could get. Yall wanted offense, nobody available has done it better then this guy & Clemson the last few years.
