I’m not meaning to attack you personally, when I say ignorant I don’t mean you’re stupid. I mean it more as blinded as a fan. I wish we had as much to sell as Texas... if that makes it more clear as to my intent even though it probably didn’t come across as such.

"Forbes released its annual rankings listing the most valuable college football teams in the country Thursday based on average revenue and profit. Texas A&M and Texas claim the top two spots in the list, respectively, with the Aggies maintaining its hold on the No. 1 spot for the second consecutive year."

Texas A&M made more than Texas multiple years in a row.

Notre Dame has the largest fanbase. Their finances are kept private and no one knows exactly how much they take in from donations.

"Among Vivid Seats’ buyers, the nationwide fan base that Notre Dame loves to promote holds up. The Fighting Irish are the most popular ticket in 171 of these counties, by far the most in college football, leading Georgia’s 142. After Notre Dame, the next four teams are all large state schools that, for the most part (apologies to Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt), have a stronghold on the state’s football fans: Georgia, Tennessee, Missouri and Nebraska.

In the business world, those are clickbait metrics.

There’s balance sheet revenue, and then there’s wealth. UT can piss away more money than A$M anytime it wants. A$M’s little bro syndrome has them pushing the balance sheets, but it’s a facade

I don’t think we can get a coach better than Campbell (Iowa St) or Fleck (MN), yet some on here talk as though we can do better or they cannot get on board with either of these 2. I will be surprised if we are lucky enough to get one these 2 coaches.

My point is this... I trust Danny White will hire the very best coach he possibly can and any Vol Fan should hop on board as soon as he names the new coach.

No, it can't. A&M has a massive donor base. They made over 200m in revenue. Their stadium is as big as Neyland. They actually still sell out. We don't.

Now if you're referring to Ut as in Texas, A&M gets a LOT more money revenue sharing from the SEC vs the Big 12 for Texas. There are equal donations. A&M has a bigger stadium. A&M has had more revenue and profit for several years in a row. A&M hired a NC winning coach from a football power and paid him 75 million. Texas hired a coordinator and paid him half that.

Always remember that on this board there's UT and Texas. UT existed before we sent a contingent of men to liberate it from Mexico and make it what it is today.

Sonny Dykes....another average coach, how the hell did we get to interviewing him? This coaching search so far has not impressed and Danny Whites credibility will be eroded with the craptastic list of coaches he is supposedly interviewing......

There is a way to not support a hire and not be toxic. Just because someone doesn't support something doesn't mean they have to get on messages boards and social media and act like a child. It doesn't matter what someone does or doesn't agree with on a message board it's not going to change anything at all. I may not support it at first but I will give him a chance to succeed just like the previous hires.

I've traveled the world. Been to Texas many times. Nothing I said was b.s. It's all verified. Or are you claiming A&M didn't hire Jimbo for 75m? Texas didn't hire Sark for 34m? Are you claiming the publicly available budget numbers for every state school that show A&M as making more money than Texas are b.s? Are you saying that A&M's 100k+ stadium is smaller than Texas's 95k seat stadium? Are you claiming that men from Tennessee didn't head to Texas and liberate it from Mexico? You know there's a famous city in Texas named after one of them don't you?

Do you understand the meaning of words? I mean maybe in your word utter b.s. means easily verified facts. If so, carry on.
