We need a head coach that has experience dealing with ncaa sanctions and running a program in the sec.

I thought it was odd Elliot turned down NFL OC interviews. He had to have thought he had a shot at something.

I looked at his all time recruits list on 247 and it’s impressive. Lot of 5 stars. He appears to have traction in Florida and GA.

I prefer Hc experience but if White goes this route it would be hard not to have faith based on Whites background. Pretty sure this board would have flipped out about hiring a Nate Oats from Buffalo in basketball then now he is hottest thing going. Frost was on everyone want list few years back and white took the first shot at him.

I just don’t think it is what will happen. AV is pretty confident in the route this was going. He said it’s a HC. While I was not a fan of the throw your program to the wolves approach he has been right on the whole way of what was happening so I trust he knows what is going to take place.

Definitely not anything close to the spot light of being the head coach here. Being a good head coach somewhere else doesn’t translate to being a good headcoach at a big program. Look at Scott frost.

And we proven that for assistants here also. Just because you called plays FOR ONE year at Clemson means your going to be great here. lol

This is a good point tho. If we hired joe Brady this place would go wild. They are virtually the same person.

Nothing anyone has done before means you’re going to be great here. Unless you’re hiring jimbo, urban, etc. it’s all a total dice roll.

VQ had White mentioned a few times pretty early on. Definitely seems like there’s some real juice behind the Elliott talk.
