One was vomiting, one had fever, all said fatigued. My doctor said to get it but be warned it’ll feel like you have COVID-19 for 3 days. Ughhhh! I hate being sick and feeling ill. 🥴🥴

I think it all depends on the person whether you have a reaction or not. My parents had none other than my dad having a sore arm.

My husband brother said he felt sickly - he had COVID too.

True. Two people that had COVID both stated it felt like like they had it again for about a day and a half..So yeah I guess it depends on each individual person....

I had that initial reaction about 45 minutes after the shot and soreness for about a day and a half. I had no other issues. Mom and dad had no issues except the sore arm. We all got the Moderna.
Two of my fellow teachers who had COVID a month or so ago got the same shot I did. Both said they felt sicker than they were with COVID for a couple of days.
It absolutely depends on the person.
There's no rhyme or reason to any of it.

My sister also had no reaction. She and my parents got the Pfizer

It's weird to me how the county health department is doing it here.
Mom and dad went the first day to the health department and people waited in their cars and got the Moderna.
They moved the "car line" to the Bristol Dragway, and now they're only giving the Pfizer.
But people can make an appointment at the Civic Auditorium in Kingsport (same health department), and they're not giving the Pfizer.

Maybe those who had had Covid already still had circulating antibodies, so the vaccine provoked their bodies more strongly than usually happens with the first shot? It’s interesting that just the posts here are saying mostly no big deal for the first round, except for those who had been infected earlier.

I’m hoping to be a guinea pig in a few weeks. I literally signed up within a minute of getting the text, and my husband signed up 45 seconds later. I’m #505, and he is #865. They had 10,000 signups in less than an hour!

My dad signed up within minutes too, they got scheduled quickly in SC.

My aunt got signed up (in NC) and was originally scheduled in Feb for first round. Hers got moved up to this weekend.

And they had a second employee at the assisted living (first one back in the summer? early fall?) test positive. But she had already quarantined at home because a family member tested positive, so fingers crossed that she was not yet spreading virus before quarantine. Still no residents that have tested positive, except for the one new admit who was in quarantine, and 100% of the residents got their first rounds. Jittery times.

that son and his wife took it in stride today when they were told delivery of Baby Sis (SOS) was being postponed to next friday . best news was mom-to-be wasn't facing risk that doctor had perceived months ago. Only downside is that son will begin teaching classes shortly afterward DDay. We're here (Stl) for long haul anyway and the more time away from the toxic Tenn-Bama relationship.pthe better..

I think oldest grandson (4 plus) is little confused, Spent much of day close to Mom. Had presents and balloons ready for SOS , and he and had brother had been talking about what they were planning to teach her. He was back to adventurous self by afternoon with treasure search and storytelling at nearby park and playground.

had no idea about AD hire. After we told my brother that delivery off, he messaged that AD had mess to clean up, it never dawned on me admintsiration had acted so quickly
