It's entirely possible Jimmy has heard nothing and is just spitballing. The reason Kiffin became such a highly-discussed option again is because White's brother is in the AD at FAU.

I think Dykes would be a bad hire, but again, your thought process is flawed.

We paid Jeremy Pruitt less than $4M on his initial base salary. I'd bet we're going to pay around $5M for the next coach.

Speaking of Dykes. He followed Morris and had success at SMU after Morris cleaned it up. Pittman has immediate success after Morris fired. Maybe Morris not as bad as people think
