Freeze and Campbell aren’t coming.

Herman
Chadwell

That’s the list or we end up with Steele

I think there will be two camps/possibilities.

The program builders/stabilizers of O'Brien and Clark, which are strong possibilities if major sanctions are coming.

If we can avoid them, it's either Herman or Chadwell.

Since Pruitt was fired for cause, I believe the players who transfer in conference, can appeal to the NCAA and SEC for immediate eligibility

Yeah probably, but that also means they'd need a spot. I mean even with my orange tinted glasses on, how many of our guys are going to get legit shots to start at another SEC school?

Eric Gray, Henry T...both can just head to the NFL after next season, and will be foundation pieces here regardless of the next hire.

So far the only guys that left who I think went to better spots are Deandre Johnson to Miami (not sure if he'll be starting though) & Ty Chandler going to UNC. Both of them though were grad transfers who don't have to deal with any red tape regardless.

That’s not what I’m saying at all. It’s just weird AF to me.
I gotcha. Steele gets the interim title largely because he’s the most qualified Orange-blooded VFL. Jmo of course. After the year Chaney had calling plays it would be silly naming him interim. Steele is a vol and likely on the next staff, so it’s not totally unreasonable.

All the Kiffin stuff when he was here was minor and that was a long time ago. He never got in trouble at USC, as an assistant at Bama, or at FAU that I can remember.

Kiffin would be the guy to save us from a meltdown of the roster and instate class next year. He also doesn’t have to go to the same extreme length he attempted the first time. He has a resume built up of an exciting product with results to sell. You have to cheat when at a disadvantage and unable to sell an obvious results product. That is why you need to hire a guy that is proven to win or put a fun product on Field for players to buy into. We won’t do it though

If Pruitt beat Florida and won 8-9 games this year we would hear nothing about these violations here either. It happens everywhere, this was a power move to get the program right while taking a hit to do it.
I don't know. If he was as wreckless and stupid as rumored we were headed for a cliff. So, it is definitely better to get in front of it and "kill the monster" so to speak...
