We're screwed, aren't we? We are free from the buyout, but it sure seems like the punishment from the NCAA might cost us more.

Feels like this might not turn out how we hope it does. I really, really hope I'm wrong.

Been saying it for a while. I hope they prove me wrong. I just can't imagine bringing the NCAA into this is ever a good idea, no matter the potential future. Paints a bad picture for whoever you try to hire. Gotta overcome all the crap with a check book now. Another reason why you can't miss now.

Everybody that is worrying about the NCAA...why?

What do you really think will happen? Keep in mind we just fired the HC. Probably will end up being like half the athletic department and recruiting offices as well. We have been open about it. Talking about integrity at the PC this afternoon, etc..

At most, we are looking at a post season ban and some token scholarship reductions. If it is anything more we would be lawyering up.

What I don't understand is why there should be a penalty from the NCAA. We fired the coach and the staff involved. Why should they punish us? We did what we should have done when we discovered it. And besides, if they tried to punish us, I'd just hold up a picture of Will Wade and tell them to go away

Here's an underrated and under appreciated hire that needs to be top priority with the next HC; our next Strength and Conditioning coach.

Look at the last year of Butch and JP. Butch just let his guy walk and never replaced him and JP lost Fitz to the NFL, even after paying him a King's ransom.

...and their respective last season's tanked. Whomever is brought in needs a stabilizing force at S&C for years to come.

We're miles away from addressing that but...we're going to be taking about HC's and AD's for weeks. Just food for thought.
