Unlike Spain most American foods are laced with sugar to help make them sell. Leaving off sugar is the quickest way to slim down (other than starvation.) Skipping rope
and running track would help Marta. As an athlete she probably could go right into easy intervals with rapid advancement into more difficult ones. This gets quicker results and is not so boring as distance running. But a sound base is needed. Exercise of her hands would be a helpful project. Will she remain in school this summer?
I thought the same thing that American food is probably more sugar and Carb laden than Spanish food. I’m sure the nutritionist has it all planned out but metabolism plays a big part. I myself can attest to a pandemic ten😡

The other day I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got in my pajamas I'll never know.

I tried to take out the tusks, but they were tight.

So I took him to Alabama where the tusks are loosah.

What did the Alabama graduate say to the Tennessee graduate?
Welcome to McDonald's, may I take your order please?

So don't you think its a little cruel to make us think about this right now? Kristy Curry has not exactly been healing balm for us the last few years, and her team is playing really well. At home. Why don't you go ahead and start a UConn thread while we're down?
I need a little more time to heal.
I know this is tough after the Georgia let down, but let us not get down on the LVs and start trashing them. Hopefully the ladies and the coaches learned something from this game. You can’t get lackadaisical no matter how much of a lead you have. It is still amazing that we just can’t solve the turnover problem.

Key to the game today is not letting them heat up from outside. If we come out slow footed and let them get hot from deep it will be a long night. Walker, Lewis, Abrams and Barber are all capable 3 point shooters. Walker is the best by the numbers but they all have the green light if they’re open based on the games Ive watched. They average 8 3s, would love to see us hold them to half of that. If they open it up from out there they can kill you in the paint. Walker and Lewis can both get to the rim and Copeland is hitting almost 68% of her FGs.

We failed to turn UGA into a jump shooting team. We really need to force Bama into the same thing today. We can’t give up open 3s and open lanes to the basket. Need to run them off the line and force contested jump shots. That’s not their game except for Lewis who can hit anywhere on the court. Here’s your second chance ladies!

Lewis in particular is a player that has given us fits. She is a very strong player going to the rim. Reminds me of Chelsea Dungee in the way she can draw contact and finish. We need to keep her off the FT line (84% shooter) as best possible tonight. Will be tough to do in Tuscaloosa. Horston will be a very good matchup on her I think.

Jordan needs to come to play on both ends. Last game she let her turnovers on offense affect her defense and energy in the second half. She’s too athletic and too good to allow the mental aspect of the game to completely take her out of it. Ditto for Rennia, she matches up well with Walker. Her primary focus needs to be winning that individual matchup on both ends of the floor.

Tamari is hitting 75% from the floor but has only attempted 39 shots on the season. Only 3.9 shot attempts per game. We have got to get her the ball more and she has to want it. 6-6 against UGA and she’ll have an opportunity here today to own the paint as well. Get confident T!

If she can draw a couple early fouls on Copeland it could really change the trajectory of this game.

She has a really nice 6 to 8 feet mid range shot doesn't always have to be a post up. I've never understood why we haven't tried to run some plays for her. I guess this year the main focus is on Davis and Burrell getting a lot of action. I have no problem with that but 4 shots a game is really not using Key like we should be using her.

No reason for turnovers to be a factor in today's game they only force 14 a game and against SEC opponents a lot less. We have to hope we have our shooting going because I think the game will be decided by rebounding and shooting percentage plus the team that can get to the line and make their free throws. I really don't think turnovers will be a deciding factor. I see another game that will be decided by five points either way. We never play well against them hopefully that changes today.

the key is "they only FORCE 14,,,we have more unforced turnovers, by far, than forced turnovers

TN Action 247 Sportsbook shows Bama as a 5.5 point favorite. Never thought we’d be debating whether or not the LVs would upset Bama. I don’t think Pat lost to them more than 2 or 3 times in her whole career.
