They’re calling all Trump supporters Nazis. There is no distinction - they don’t care how ridiculous it is to paint everyone who supports Trump that way.

A 56 year old woman lost her job as a real estate agent in Chicago because she was in DC for the rally / march. She did not enter the capitol building - to many on the left it doesn’t matter. All Trump supporters must be punished and humiliated.

Maybe people who threaten to kill public officials on social media will be added.

The agent, Libby Andrews, said she was not part of the violence and didn’t even know it was going on at the time, because she was with a large crowd on the other side of the building, its east side facing the Supreme Court building.
“I went there to support my president,” Andrews said, “but I never saw anything destructive taking place.” She said the group she was in sang the national anthem and Twisted Sister’s “We’re Not Gonna Take It," which has become a rallying cry with supporters of the “Stop the Steal” movement.

Speaking to Crain’s from an Uber on her way to her flight back to Chicago this afternoon, Andrews said she only learned about the mob breaching Capitol security and roaming the building’s chambers and offices later that night, when she was no longer at the site.
Andrews said she was not contacted by anyone from @properties before she was fired. “I emailed them, 'You didn’t ask me what happened, you didn’t reach out to me’” she said. “I would have told them I didn’t do any of that stuff.”

I will say, it is a testament to the man's con artist capabilities that he has so many Republicans defending or excusing his misconduct. The Republican party claims to be the party of law and order. Of respect for government. Of honoring the process and institutions.

Based on lies and unfounded and unjustified speculation he has turned the tables and made the GOP the party of whining, belligerence, and lawlessness.

For me, the dividing line is where the Capitol Police set up their line, just at the top of the steps. It was clear. so anyone in the "protest" who went past that became a criminal. Charge them and a company can and should fire them.
