Sorry, but I don’t see plays like that working with the speed and discipline of SEC defenses. Certainly not with the 300+ lb bruiser oline we have.
Would be much in the line of Butch trying to run read option with Worley. Would take 3 years to recruit players to do that and by then, Volnation would want Chadwells head on a spike.
That is just not true..... chadwell adjusts his offenses by talent he has..... everytime we hear about how a new innovative offense won’t work until it does..... he mixes the triple option with spread passing principles to be a very balanced team.... once teams start cheating to stop our run then we beat them over the top..

I’m starting to think that HITR is right and that we‘re going to keep him

Yea i think so too. Good Players that may not fit at UGA or Bama would fit here. I like having that niche
Pruitt was wrong about a lot of things. I mean... A LOT of things.

Getting in the same living rooms as Bama and UGA and fighting for those players was not one of them.

Running some quirky offense with B list players is a pathway to nowhere. That is Vandy like behavior.

Three major concerns with Chadwell:

How does his offense translate to big boy ball?

Could he recruit well enough to get and keep us competitive?

Could he attract and command the staff needed at this level?

1. YES
2. This is a legit concern and we need to see his plan
3. I feel former VFL’s should be able to step in and help with this one.

What? Lol

Running a run first spread offense is what lands you players like Kamara that isn’t fit for what bama wants to do. Look at Florida’s good WRs. I’m not really sure how you’re painting that as a negative

How is an RPO quirky? It's literally the only offense that works right now

@RiotVol did you watch this informative video on Chadwell offense?
My belief is his offense can work in the SEC. His offense caters around his players and what the D is showing.

I did!

I love that there’s damned near always a “right answer” on every play. I hated playing defense against option teams.

I think if I were interviewing him, I’d ask “We have one of the all time leading passers in Georgia high school football history on the roster. He’s not running quarterback. What are your thoughts?”

If he says “We can adapt our offense to personnel. If the best QB on the team is a thrower and not a runner, we will figure it out,” then I’m getting his agent on the phone and asking him how much it’s gonna cost to get him.

If he instead says “This is the offense we run. If he wants to play, he either gets faster or transfers,” then I’m stopping the interview and calling the next guy.

We are in a hole. We need an innovator. We need an insurgent. We need someone who is sincere when they say they want to be here.

No it’s not a size thing it’s a movement thing. I don’t like all my lineman being 330 or 350 unless they are athletic freaks. Most of great tackles are closer to 300 than 350.
We need lineman that reach the second level period.... if they are too big for that then it is part of our issue.

What if Chadwell said he wanted to bring his guys from CC with him, from both sides of the ball?
