Honestly, the thing I'm most curious about, are the powers-that-be aware that the longer this draws out the more damage they do to the program? Rumors of Wanya transferring. I'm sure other players are considering it. All of this, IMO, is created by the uncertainty of who their coach will be. Is Fulmer even talking to these kids, trying to convince them to stay? This needs to end quick, and we need to move on, be it with or without Pruitt. It feels like we're imploding, and the powers-that-be are working fast enough to stop it from happening.

Never actually seen the movie, but based off the gif, I think Jake Gyllenhaal says it, which makes UT Heath Ledger. Ironic that we're the one that's dead.

I've come around to O'Brien. Really good offensive mind with some battle scars from his 2 seasons at PSU. He'd do just fine in Knoxville. Marrone would be a solid hire as well. As much as I would like Napier I just believe he stays put for at least 1 more season.

That's the concern - recruiting. And admin. And boosters. It's a different environment. He would literally need someone to teach him about recruiting, boatload of ncaa rules (how to cheat), dealing with 16-22 year olds, parents, etc.

It makes sense only if they actually do have a hire in mind and can't get him while the investigation goes on OR if they want a big name and are sure they'll be able to get one should they wait. There's no point in hiring Rutgers Germy to replace Bama Germy but if that's their plan then it makes no sense at all to wait.

They're gonna keep repeating it until you accept it. I say if no Freeze (other big name) then they should be forced to live with Pruitt for another year. It's better than 4 more with the same thing/different name and the fact that Pruitt aggravates the hell out of some of them may be the only satisfaction we get.
