We’ve already took too many chances on these up & comers.

Why continue to go on the same path?

Dooley and Pruitt were not up and comers. Just awful, awful hires. The Kiffin and Butch hires don’t look too bad on paper. Gus has 8 years of evidence at possibly the most comparable SEC program to us. They just fired him. And he lost 4 or more games 7 years in a row. He is the definition of settling. If you want a stabilizer at least get Herman.

How would you all feel if we hired Jeff Brohm?

For the sake of the discussion, would you feel differently if we were hiring him straight from WKU and Purdue were never on his resume?

Idk man.

Napier and Chadwell are a huge risk.

I don’t think we’re in no position to be taking anymore risks or else we’ll be starting from scratch again.

This job has continually chewed up and spit out coaches every 3-4 years. We're gonna go hire another one that just went through that at another school?

We need a coach that doesn't fall apart under the pressure like the last 3 guys. Cause the pressure will come.

I will laugh in your face when we fire the dude after 3-4 years of averaging 6.75 wins a year...I'll wait.
Again you have nothing to back up your assumptions. He’s not my first call but he’s also not this horrible hire you are trying to make him out to be. He’d beat the scrubs and we’d be competitive with all the others. It’s what he’s done in the toughest division in all of football for 7 years.

Gus reminds me a lot of RichRod. Innovative in his day but ego kept him from admitting Defenses have caught up. Maybe failure humbles him but I would be shocked.
He’s a Texas high school football coach runs variations of the same 5 plays with D1 players. He’s never gotten any better, been lucky a whole bunch though.

Is your next suggestion going to be Lovie Smith? You are horrible at this.

We've seen Gus's ceiling. And we would all be bumping our heads on it each week.
If there's a positive takeaway, it's this - the East is probably 1 game easier than the West. Take all those 4 loss seasons and make them 3 loss seasons. I think I could live with that. Still hate his record vs Smart though. Not good.

Jesus Christ, for the last time, we are not going to hire anyone you have deemed to be worthy of your support.

Any candidate we hire is going to have warts. Please put me on ignore instead of the broken record response about how bad my questions or suggestions are.

You are not smarter, more likely to be right, or more well informed simply because you can say “Freeze good” over and over and over.

Since 07, how many times has UT posted a winning record in a single SEC season? Answer is twice. One of those teams was coached by Pruitt. He can win here.

What Tennessee coach has the biggest home loss to UK? Pruitt. What coach lost to Arkansas with a first year head coach while ours was in year 3? Pruitt. What coach lost to Georgia State at home? Pruitt.

Guy is a LOSER. We’ve never had so many double digit losses in a season. Gtfo with this ‘Jeremy is a winner’ crap. We as a fan base are sick of being force fed sh!t, enough is ENOUGH!

I’d like to know outside of Phillip’s first football hire having a terrible third season, what all has he done thats so bad? Just about every athletic program is better today than it was the day he was hired. Fundraising has increased every year since Phillip has been here. Even in a pandemic year. A lot of you folks need to understand that this guy has done a fine job as AD. Good thing Boyd and Plowman agree.

My post isn't about Fulmer. It's you. You missed the whole point of my post but I will say this, Fulmer's backing of a loser, his living in the the coaches meeting room and interrupting practice trying to coach. He WAS a coach but a terrible AD and the Lady's B Ball hire will be his next failure that the new AD will have to fix. But I'll make this easier for both I will put where I put Bruin.
