I was thinking more about the recruiting investigation problem - especially if the thing about the HS coach soliciting money is true. Fulmer has been through this before, did the right thing, and got burned. I still think that's what put a nail in his recruiting days - revenge from the rest of the conference. I know a lot of people around here think Fulmer is a bumbling, slow talking, fool - I don't - there's a lot more at work beneath the surface. If I were handling the situation with Fulmer's experience after having been burned in a frontal attack, I'd do something way different the next time. Start an investigation to look at any violations that the school might have done, and then just let it lay out there knowing that probably every other school going for a 5* recruit was doing the payola thing. GA is already implicated because they landed the guy. In essence a way of reporting recruiting fraud by being a "victim" and not actually reporting the problem. Could be fun.
