Has anybody else wondered what it would have been like to have been born in canada rather than the US???

No .... not I. I've always loved where I was born & raised. I did wonder at times when I was a kid, what it would be like to be born up in the Colorado mountains back in 1886 though .....

I had cousins living in Knoxville when I was a child growing up. We would visit them during vacations in the summer. To this day .... I still love East TN & wished I was living there at times.
Me too. I grew up in South Knoxville. Left the state in 76 to go where the work was in my field, and haven’t managed to move back. My 92 yr old mom and one of my brothers still live there.

Nice place to vacation (BC/Alberta). Good beer. It snows up there in June, sometimes in July....that sucks. Gun laws are restrictive as hell. Something to NOT look forward to here.

I'm not envious of canadians at all. But I'm fascinated by the fact that canada is our neighbor and so similar yet so different. Perhaps the fact that America fought for its independence while canada waited to be granted its independence is the difference.

Not enough power without nitrous???

I estimate it will have more than enough. I've always wondered what it would be like to have a car w/nitrous. I've ridden in one when I was much younger, but never driven one. I'll probably pass on that since my plan for the future is autocross/time trials and I'm guessing SCCA would give me a DQ sticker for that being installed, depending upon class maybe or just outright not allowed. I haven't checked.

Quite possible. Good points. They definitely have different points of view concerning certain liberties we take as a normal part of our culture.

Sorry, about the delete. Just didn't think it was appropriate considering the posts immediately above

Interesting article about the TN recruiting investigation. When a recruit in question turned down TN and wound up at GA, it was maybe looking like an Albert Means kind of thing. This just came out:

At one point during Mims’ recruitment, a high school coach asked fans for donations during a live stream video from the lineman’s Instagram account. The coach noted that the donations from fan bases could be the deciding factor in Mims’ recruitment.

Tennessee reportedly facing 'serious investigation' with Georgia potentially next: UGA 'got sloppy in recruiting'
