Jeff Fisher comments on interest in the UT job

Older defensive minded coach. Check.

Barely above .500 in the NFL. Check.

Never coached a down in college football as a HC. Check.

Terrible post season record as a HC. Check.

Never recruited. Check.

Sounds like the absolute perfect fit for good ol Phil.
So let’s have a realistic scenario here. Let’s say Pruitt is fired next week. Aside from Feeze, assuming that’s who you’d say, who would you feel is a realistic option that’s better than Fisher to come in and at least right the ship for the next few years? Over .500 in the NFL is a pretty solid record for a NFL coach.

He still lives in the Nashville area. A California guy who couldn't wait to get out of LA and get back to Tennessee.

So does that mean you don't think he's the man for the job? Did I get that right? 😁

Thanks Jeff for what you did with the Titans. But commenting on air about a job that is not open and no other schools/NFL jobs are calling sounds like desperation. Titan Up though!

I’m not exactly sure how to feel about this but I think I’m leaning towards no thank you. Although I would take him over Pruitt

Fisher can choke the hell outta an offense but he does know the rules better than any coach I’ve ever witnessed. He’s a good coach, but he loves kicking Fgs
