I'm not sure what kind of "news" Trey is trying to make this. This is just a standard agreement letter for their services. I guess showing it started late November.....which we all already knew.

I think it's the Date that is important... 19th of November they were already into all of this...

So what would Pruitt's buyout have been now if he hadn't been extended?
Assuming the negotiated buyout term of 60% of annual salary is in effect, it would be 60% of ~$4m (whatever his exact annual salary is) lower. I think I read we would owe ~$12.5m, so (~$12.5m) - (~$2.4m). We'd save a couple million.

trying to be relevant
personally, i hope he loses every bit of access he thinks he has..
this could have all been handled MOSTLY behind closed doors and breaks a month later if this jack ass doesn't try to make a name for himself 5 minutes before kick off

FYI Pruitt has been interviewed plenty already...
but thanks
This lol. You really think an investigation has been going on for this long and the head coach has yet to be interviewed lol. The reason this is taking so long is because it has to formally revised, submitted, and presented along with the plan for self inflicting action.

I’m not sure why VQ guys keep acting like Pruitt is waiting to be brought down to the station.

Because Im bored, there was 25 billable days since the contract was signed on December 1st when it was accepted.
Assuming the highest hourly rate, at 8 working hours a day, thats 200 hours x $500 + 200 hours x $375.
Thats $100,000 + $75,000 = $175,000 just to tell us that Pruitt should be fired.

But, spending $175K to get out of a $20M contract? Not a bad investment.

Pruitt's Interview:

Glazier: Mr Gump did you order the code red? Did you start JG?

Pruitt: You're damn right I did!
Son, we live in a world that has balls, and those balls have to be guarded by men with whistles. Whose gonna do it? You? You, Coach Fulmer? I have a greater responsibility than you could possibly fathom. You weep for the fans, and you curse the coaching staff. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. That my coaching caused the program's death, while tragic, probably saved me a spot on Saban's staff . And that my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves that position. You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that sideline, you need me on that sideline. We use words like aight, cornbread , and duh huh. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent ruining something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and eats asparagus under the blanket of the crap that I provide, then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a whistle, and stand on a sideline . Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to.
Fake News, He didn't say Aight enough

I thought the same thing. Does Trey not know what a service agreement or contract is? We know what the lawyers are getting paid now...cool.
I served on a jury in a federal civil trial. All hourly rates of lawyers and investigators were presented to us as evidence. Investigators making $250 an hour and $125 an hour to fly to trial.

I know, but he dropped that tweet like it was some giant piece of new news. It's just a proposal from the lawyer offering their services and stating their hourly rates.

I’m not going to disparage you for this statement, but it’s a pretty stunning thing to say given our recent... or long term history

I agree with him though. You just can't be completely inept. Which we have been. Should always beat UK, VU, Sc, Mizzou plus 3 cupcakes. That's 7 wins. Go 1-4 against actual competition wouldn't seem to be that big of an ask with our resources. Catch a crappy team out of the west and a team like Pitt as your main OOC game and you have 9 wins.
