Trump Supporters Gathering in D.C. - Mayor Readies for Those ‘Seeking Confrontation’

97% of the BLM protests were peaceful and a bedrock of our democracy is the 1A right to free speech yet you people have condemned them for years and called them "thugs", but what happened on Tuesday was okay. Why? Because those people were white.

?

@hog88 Don't try to appeal to @grandvol 's logic. There is none.

The radical right Trump party is based on conjecture, rumor and conspiracy.

There once was the Know Nothing party. Perhaps Trump's will morph into the No Fact party.

@Grand Vol see's right through me.

I want the harris/Biden administration to punish the right, I want those people that were protesting charged and arrested. I want those that got into the capitol to be put on trial for a capitol offense. I want them to charge and arrest Trump the minute he leaves office.

There's an earlier video where a guy standing next to her explains it. I think tnmarktx accidentally posted it

Saw it. Are we to that point where we're going to start trusting the word of "witnesses" on scene without any corroboration?

First rule of investigations. Nothing an eye witness ever says should be taken at face value.

Regardless, I just blew your "she charged at him" narrative the **** up. But again, some animals are greater than others. Make sure we protect Congress from the guy in a buffalo costume. He's a serious threat.

No you really didn't sweetheart. Unknown mob and this person jumped thru a guarded window after being told not to. You also act as if the threat was fully known. It's wasn't

When have Trump supporters used them? Or Molotov cocktails?

You see, if you'd actually use a bit of common sense here and think things through without screaming for people to be murdered, maybe you'll pull your head out of your ass long enough to start thinking through this.

Yesterday, you were hoping for more deaths because of their political affiliation. Great job, Stalin.
I never called for people to be killed because of political affiliations. I did however say that the criminals that broke into the Capitol, should've been shot. Especially the ones in military gear with zip ties. No one should die because of their political affiliations. That is not the country that we live in.
I want them to be shot just like police shot black people. Make it the same across the board.

Yes he can and yes he will. He, like the vast majority of Trumpets in this forum, are lost in a psychotic brain-washed racist echo chamber.
when they realize that donald is an actual conman....that they were lied to for 4 years, how will they react? Will they stop participating in the electoral process? Will they try to take their country back? Will they come to grips, and accept that America is changing for the better?

Yes, our system of govt should be protected. The entire Senate should be protected. Had this been an actual attack there would be absolute chaos right now and it wouldn't be pretty
If you think our system of government was in danger, you're a fool. Finally a true statement from you, this wasn't an attack. Therefore, the woman was murdered for protesting.

Dumbasses that really weren't causing that much trouble except to wound the pride of the Capitol Police and scare the **** out of our lawmakers.

Good. They need it.

Now, did you say the same thing when the Kavanaugh hearings were interrupted? Those people should be shot? Or when they took over some of the offices there to protest?

At least have some consistency.
I’m consistent.
If you break in by force to places where our government is doing business then you’re a threat to the republic and it should be treated as an act of war.
I’d agree that the government needed this warning and should fear the people. This issue wasn’t worth dying over for me. If it was for those who attacked then that’s the risk they were willing to take. It’s not lost on me and never has been since I was a child that there might come a time that I have to rise up aginst my government should it become tyrannical (as the founding fathers said) but if that ever happens I firmly expect to be shot at.
It’s sad that this lady died. It’s sad that she ignored the warnings that led to her death. We still don’t have all the facts as to why she was shot.
But that doesn’t change the fact that the response to the whole thing was a giant cluster**** and the mob never should have made it inside the building.

I think you would’ve started seeing that had the situation continued into the night. Storming the capitol was idiotic but at least they had the good sense to get the hell out of Dodge when it got dark.

So does our congress deserve an extra protection that goes beyond what the rest of us have? Should stricter rules of law enforcement should be applied on their behalf. Should people be killed for trying to angrily talk to them? As for comparing those to the people that killed the ambassador in Benghazi to those at the capitol, that's a completely ridiculous comparison.

So is the Capitol building requiring everyone to come through windows now? Is that their standard of entry? Do you invite people into your home and direct them to enter through the windows? No. I'm all for a peaceful protest and allowing them to talk however they want to someone else, but it has to be done properly and through the proper channels. Bum rushing the building, climbing through windows, breaking things isn't that. At that point you have entereted a state of lawlessness and chaos where order needs to be restored.

Lastly, when all of (or the majority, not sure how many in total but that isn't my point) Congress is in a building together, yes there needs to be added protection for them during that time frame than on regular ole me and you. The same way the president has extra security than we do.

I do find your point ironic though. Let's just provide them the same protection as ourselves then. What would you do if a group of people were breaking into your home through your windows? Would you stand there, let them come in, and say to yourself (and loved ones if you live with others) "hey, they are just coming in to talk angrily at me, no need to fret" or would you start shooting those intruders? I can tell you right now which camp I am in and I bet I know the one you are in as well.

Not even close to the same thing.
Americans left to die by the government as opposed to overstimulated strokes and heart attacks.

I’m sure you want investigations in all the riots deaths leading up to this as well.

But your ignorant spin is noted.
did he just compare this to Benghazi? LOL WTF

I mean you have to think Islamic Terrorists are looking at the security in this situation like "gee that was easy"

They had no idea who was in that crowd or what their intentions were. It had to be treated as an attack until it wasn’t.

Changing for the better...

It was easy because the people defending it wanted no carnage if that was possible in any way.

They clearly understood there was no real danger to this country in this episode.

If people with a real plan and means were to do this, I have to imagine the dogs would have been unleashed.

If you care to look up the laws that govern how you are able to protect yourself and you should, you'd find out that the laws depending on the state you live in give you a more liberal use of force. It's a private residence. To you're other point, they do have added protection. They have their own LE units assigned to them. They still have to enforce the law in a lawful matter.

Agreed, now is the time for the government to take retribution out on all that oppose it.

They definitely were concerned about the optics. Never should have allowed them that close.
