I'm just really struggling with how we got so divided that people ignore outright facts and events when it makes their side look bad. I've seen it here and on other social media from all sides. At this point it can't be labeled anything but purposeful ignorance
We're older and wiser. Of course that comes with cranky and forgetful too@utvolpj
I’m really not comfortable with how much I agree with you on things lately.
I've never said she deserved to die. I've said she made multiple, horrible decisions that led to her death. If she was told by a guy guarding the window with a gun to stop and she didn't then that's on her. In the video she seemed very eager to get thru thereYou're right, she deserved to die. Does that make you feel better. We'll just continue to be more divided.
The guy should already be in custody and charged with murder. There's plenty of video evidence. If you or I shoot and unarmed human being we go to jail.I've never said she deserved to die. I can honestly say that I didn't start voting straight party ticket until 2018. Even in 2016, I voted for the persons platforms here in Georgia, especially in our local elections. After donald was elected, it appeared that everything was a referendum about him. 2018 I voted straight Dem for the first time. I had never voted for a Dem Sheriff before, or District Attorney. I thought Danny Porter did an excellent job as District Attorney. I guess that is life in politics. That's the same on all sides. Even when congress had a single digits approval rating most got to return. That's all on people who vote straight party lines
Deserve to die? No, but make no mistake she is the one responsible for her own death. Most on here screaming for murder charges need to step into the officer's shoes. First off, it was utter chaos. This man is charged with protecting the people in this building who form the very core of power in the U.S. This man has no way of knowing this woman's intentions. Did she have weapons? Did she have a bomb? Was she going for hostages? This man had no way of knowing any of this. The people jumping on this man here are pathetic. I wish they would have been is his shoes to see what they would have done. Was it tragic? Yes, no doubt. I am frankly shocked that they weren't more people shot. This building, when Congress is in session and especially in chamber, should be defended at ALL COSTS.You're right, she deserved to die. Does that make you feel better. We aren't police officers charged with protecting the Capitol from an unknown mob. She was warned, broke thru anyways and paid the price for her actions. Sucks but it was entirely her decision to be thereThe guy should already be in custody and charged with murder. There's plenty of video evidence. If you or I shoot and unarmed human being we go to jail.
Glad you’ve come around on trigger happy cops, hope you bring this same energy to the next thread about an unarmed black man being shot or killed by scared officers. The guy should already be in custody and charged with murder. There's plenty of video evidence. If you or I shoot and unarmed human being we go to jail.
Are you kidding me? The guys got eyes, he was at close distance there were other cops right on the outside with MP5's and AR's that walked back down the stairs. It was clearly murder to state otherwise is ridiculous. The only way I can respect anyone's opinion after clearly being able to watch the video, is if you're ok with making murder legal.Deserve to die? No one said they are but their rules of engagement are different in a situation like this. She charged at police after breaking and entering. From your other video, she was warned multiple times to stop and get back but ignored them to instead charge the cop with a gun.Police are not above the law..
