Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

I'm sure I'll post it again in a few months. My memory sucks.

Who did they play? Wasn’t it North Carolina? I think either we had Jimmy Streeter at QB or they had his brother as the punter. I was probably ten at the time, so I may not be remembering correctly.

Purdue - it was actually 79. I just went back and looked.

Word has come out that longtime Dodger manager Tommy Lasorda has passed away today .....

Another sad day in major league baseball....
RIP. Went to see the Dodgers play Atlanta for a couple of games in the mid-1980's, and sat behind the Dodgers' dugout. I saw Lasorda, Monday, Baker, Hershiser, Honeycutt, Sax, and that group..

I'm surprised that I haven't received an email about this by now. I saw the information on the bottom of the TV screen where they scroll the news of the day ..... they said he was 93 years old.

Nope. I thought about going, but afraid I might get snowed in. I saw the webcam at the golf course near my house, and it looked like 12-15 sledding down Hole # 1.

I looked on the Weather Channel to see what the temp was outside & they were showing the national map & it's snowing like crazy up in them thar hills of Western Carolina.
