Lost another old Vol. And another story showing why Marvin West is still somebody we want to keep around for as long as possible. Be sure to check the picture - Jim, Walter Chadwick, and Steve Kiner.

Jim McDonald, another old Vol, has died

Although I've never heard of the guy, he seemed to be one of the best friend that a person could have.
A good article written about him and the good ole days of UT football and being one & having friends in life.

I actually saw him play in the NCAA tournament for Ohio State, along with Jerry Lucas, and Bobby Knight. I don't really remember Knight, but I have Polaroids of Lucas and Hondo. I think it was about 1960 or 61.
Wow! I lived in Atlanta for a time and the Celtics were in town to play the hawks. He sat down in front of me. I reluctantly asked for his autograph and he was very humble.

SpaceX founder Elon Musk is now the richest person in the world | Space

Elon Musk just became the world's richest person, nudging fellow space tycoon Jeff Bezos from the top spot.

The SpaceX founder and CEO is now worth more than $185 billion, thanks in large part to the ongoing surge in the stock price of his electric-car company, Tesla, according to media reports. Bezos, who runs Amazon.com as well as the spaceflight outfit Blue Origin, is currently worth $184 billion, according to CNBC.

Bezos had held the world's-richest title since 2017.

Think he could spare a bit for our coaching search?

If you are a fan of old time basketball and football, see if you can answer this question. In one of the Final Fours that I attended there was a starting guard for one of the teams. He is still, and probably always will be, the only athlete ever to win a Heisman in football, and start in a Final Four basketball game. He was a lefty. Any idea who he is?
