Things I'm mad about today

supposed to be 6-10 in higher elevations here and 3-5 in lower
glad I went to grocery store yesterday....I'd say tonight is wild in there
That's why I went to ingles instead of Walmart. I usually get everything except meat at Walmart, but no way I was going tonight. These rednecks go crazy over snow, and flock to Walmart like black Friday. I just paid a little extra at ingles to avoid it.

The Ingle's closer to me is never crowded. I don't know how it stays in business.
Does yours have a Starbuck's in it, or is that just an East TN thing?

We have 2 in our county, and both have a Starbucks. Ours stays fairly busy, considering Walmart and another local grocery chain is here. We also have an Asian market, and 3 small Mexican owned stores.

The Ingles stores here have gas stations, but they're fairly new. The gas stations are fairly easy to get in and out of. The stores themselves have spent a lot of money in terms of updating floors, ceilings, and those new freezers that turn on when someone is near....a lot of money.

Our choices are pretty much WM/Sam's, Food City, Ingles, Kroger, and Food Lion (not very convenient). My daughter shops at Target sometimes. I wind up going to Food City more than the others, it seems.

Ours have delis where you can get subs, Chinese, huge salad bar, wings, and dinner plates. They have some of the best fried chicken anywhere, and seats to eat at. It's good food.

I've heard the one close to Johnson City has good chicken. The one nearer to us didn't the time we got it. They have a pretty big salad bar, too.
