You asked, so I tried to answer. Fascism typically includes authoritarian government, strong nationalism, elements of racism, and under regulated capitalism. One of the things I've noticed about former communists is that their version of government and capitalism appears similar to Marx's criticism of government and capitalism, that democratic government was just a front for the owners of production. There is some leeway there, but a person who goes against one of the oligarchs in Russia does so at the risk of everything he owns, including his life. Putin's power appears to be supreme. I don't think there is an oligarch there who would defy him and stay alive and free for very long. I'm just giving you my view, but I certainly do not think every nuance of nationalism implies fascism. It seems common to all forms of government, but fascist leaders incline to exploit it to a high level.

Turned on the TV this morning for 2 minutes and saw some dumb **** ESPN radio telecast where dude used Reagans line of "are you better than you were 4 years ago" to his black hosts ( Michigan Fab5 guy and another black guy). He clarified his Reagan statement that "are you better off" in a social justice context and named Lebron having epithats painted outside his home as proof.

Seriously using LJ, one percenter at that, as a victim?

Guess the hosts couldnt name how they were worse off. But I certainly pray for LJ, tough life. Private school then NBA millionaire. Hard to fathom.

If I can find my Polaroids, I will post them. Honestly not sure where they are. I moved recently. I also saw Jerry West play for West Virginia at an NCAA. Don't remember if it was a regional or a final. My dad took us to several NCAA tournament games in Louisville and Charlotte, around that time.
