Marrone is a **** hire. Butch Jones was a better HC in the big east than marrone was at syracuse. Plus he's gotta recruit, isn't a big enough name .

Of all places, we have the dumbest people in the athletic department. Truly tragic.

95% of other schools in our position would have had this wrapped up, but for some reason getting embarrassed on national television by our opponents isn’t enough, now this mess.

Honestly, shut the program down, because tbh, all this **** the last 15 years has ruined UT football for me. I’m tired of getting mocked and laughed at by other fans. Year in and out we get hopeful, and think this year will be the year, but it’s always ends up the same, getting beat down, laughed at, then being hopeful when an insider comes around and gives us hope, but ultimately, we know what is going to happen.

That’s crazy if you think Napier is better than Marrone. For all of these “what has he proven?” questions, that isn’t even debatable. A guy who went to an AFC Championship game with the JAGUARS and BORTLES versus a guy who is in year 3 in the Sun Belt. Just funny how you guys analyze “numbers.”

He is a good coach in college game but I don’t want him when you have guys like Freeze, Herman, Gus, Napier in pool of potential candidates.

nor would he be the savior of TN football.

the problem in hiring Marrone is he would have to win over fans for support. and we're not good enough to win fast enough to do that.

Fickell, Freeze or Napier best three available IMO.
I don't think UT will hire Freeze,
I don't think Fickell would come. If he did, you would always be on alert of him leaving for OSU when Day leaves for the NFL.
IMO if a change is made this year, Napier is our best bet. That's my two cents for the day.

Josh Ward’s “Locked on the Vols” podcast led with Chris Low’s appearance on the midday show yesterday. Interesting that a fairly establishment outlet would choose to amplify that message.
