Right elbow to right wrist..Yes. Tenosynovitis of which muscle or body part?
He also had 2 8 wins seasons and won a conference champ.
They didn’t wait around for it. The Haslams never went away. They’ve been in thick of things this entire time and you can be sure that a large chunk of the un-cited opinions that Fulmer is said to have about Pruitt or any other topic actually comes from Team Haslam and their PR spinners. Fulmer has stated very little publicly (and has very likely done so to give himself and the AD as much leeway to act as possible if and when the time comes to act) and yet certain media members, fans, and insiders have spilled barrels of ink telling us what Fulmer thinks and where he supposedly stands.I have a bad feeling that the Haslam block has been waiting for something like this to happen since the Schianomo so they could wrest control back for good, and it is absolutely insane to me that you or anybody else would want Pruitt fired bad enough RIGHT NOW to give them that control back. Those idiots and their nerd bean counters are the real reason we are in this mess to start with...I remember.
People are so mercurial and shortsighted in this day and age...
I think Pruitt needs to go now too, but not if that group regains control by doing so. They have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that their priority has never been commitment to excellence.
Maybe a lot of people are telling us what Phil thinks when in reality they don’t know. The fact that Fulmer has said next to nothing tells me that he is leaving himself room to operate. There’s an agenda to tie Fulmer and Pruitt together that has been present for months but if Fulmer really wanted to influence things in Pruitt’s favor he would’ve used his influence with fans to do so. He would’ve locked himself in with Pruitt publicly and vouched for him and the direction of the program. He hasn’t done that which means he’s left open the door to firing Pruitt. I know that goes against what some keep claiming regarding Phil but those claims don’t change the fact that Phil has avoided tying himself too strongly to Pruitt or vouching for him. That's all on Phil, no? I get there's an investigation, but HE WANTS PRUITT. SO WHY NOT COME OUT AND SAY HE'S BEHIND HIM?!
His record at Syracuse is almost identical to Pruitt’s after 3 years then he finished with 8-5 his 4th year. We can do better unless you are satisfied with another Pruitt. It’s about context. He took a Syracuse team that had been the worst in their conference for 5+ years and made conference champs out of them in 4 years. This was a successful rebuild no matter how you look at it; we are in need of someone that has proven successful at rebuilding. Had he not garnered enough attention for this to get hired away into the NFL, he likely would have continued what he started at Syracuse and produced a record more to your liking.
He won in Buffalo and almost took the Jags to the super bowl before ownership started getting the team and threatened to move to London. Not to mention he was .500 at Syracuse which is the most successful stint there in the last 20 years with a 4-5 record against the top 25. It's not as black and white as you make it.Marrone averaged OVER 6 losses a year in his college stint and has lost 42 games his last four years as head coach at Jacksonville.![]()
Syracuse after 3 years. He also had 2 8 wins seasons and won a conference champ.
Before he got there they were like 5-39 in 4 yearsSyracuse after 3 years.
4-8
8-5
5-7
If I’m not certain that is almost exactly Pruitt’s record here after 3 years. Marrone then finished 8-5 his 4th year which may be close to what Pruitt does next year with the cupcakes on the schedule. He is a Pruitt clone. No thanks.
we will not even talk about his .348 win anymore at Jacksonville. I really can’t believe people are talking about this guy as a legit HC candidate.
He's coached at some pretty bad places though and brought them the most success any of them had in recent historyView attachment 336994
He is a CEO type with a .388 lifetime HC record.
Kiffin is not happening. I don't think our AD has the balls to hire Freeze. Herman or Napier would be my top two choices of who I think are realistic hires. Do not want Marrone. Luke Fickell is worth calling but I think he's waiting on the Big 10. Matt Campbell has a huge buyout, and I doubt he'd come here anyway. I'd rather take the risk with Chadwell than go with Marrone.I mean I'd rather have Kiffin, Freeze, maybe Napier but then Marrone over Chadwell or Malzhan
I am not pro Marrone. I just think bashing the guy is idiotic. You are what your record says you are. You all pro-Marrone guys must but be on drugs or drinking heavily. View attachment 336995
Bill O'Brien would be a grand slam hire. Think how well he could recruit with his name alone.Kiffin is not happening. I don't think our AD has the balls to hire Freeze.
