Trump Supporters Gathering in D.C. - Mayor Readies for Those ‘Seeking Confrontation’

I just saw a video of the police trying to hold back the rioters in what looked like the lobby of the capitol.... how would you guys have viewed the situation if one or more of the cops had popped a few of them?

I don’t like what has happened today and don’t condone it. While I was fine with some of Trump’s policies, I’ve never been fine with his mouth and Twitter habit. He’s not somebody I would ever want to spend any time around. But maybe if the Dems gave half a damn about the violent protests this past year, the burning of businesses, the assault on police and other citizens by Antifa over the past several years, constantly calling everyone racist, bigot, homophobe, etc and had actually, collectively, spoken out against it, done something about it instead of capitalizing on it, they might have a leg to stand on today. Their outrage is fake as hell and comical, although today’s events are not. They are as complicit in this as anyone else. So while Trump is certainly culpable in all of this and shares much of the blame, so does the left for a multitude of reasons and the gasket finally blew today. Let’s examine some of the reasons why they’re part of the problem.

A lot of work to be done and self reflection by a lot of politicians.

You are misspeaking with respect to what Rep Ruben Guoga said or for that matter even implied

Hardly. I was listening to MSNBC prior to his spot and afterwards. I clearly heard what he said and implied. Even with his statement being fueled with emotion at the time of the interview, it's inexcusable. Then again, the response was accepted with the group nod among the MSM, reminding them of past representatives calling for violence against those who don't agree with them.

I’d be good with it. How about we take care of these people and Charlottesville, and the left takes care of every BLM riot participant. It would be a lot better country.

No, Trump telling everyone Obama was born in Kenya and fomenting racial division and political corruption in every possible way, in addition to the people still going along with it somehow, is the problem.
Oh, thanks for summing up all of humanity’s problems for us all.

Droppong in to say hi to all the Trump supporters who decided to vote for that piece of ****. Anyone want to bother to eat some crow? Its fresh out of the capital's oven. May the level-headed non-psychotic posters of VN continue their reign over the politics forum. If you're on the other side of the fence, please crawl back into your hole and never vote again. It was truly remarkable hearing from so many of you that Biden was in any way a worse choice than Trump. It really takes some mental gymnastics to go at it as long as you all have, but I'd say it's about time to reevaluate your positions and principles. Cause this **** is not working out. And eat some crow while you're at it. Dont you think?
The blood of the woman who was killed is just as much on the hands of those that obstructed or make claims of this being the most secure election in our history. If that shoe fits you, wear it proudly.

The most ironic thing about this post is that they were pushing back against the insaneness that sparked this craziness today

I watched/listened to him too. We respectfully disagree on some of his statements
