He took a team from worst in its conference to conference champs in 4 years. It was a major rebuild, like UT would be, and that definitely skews the numbers. Know who else had losing records in the NFL? Pete Carroll, Nick Saban, Lane Kiffin, etc.

This is the king of guy you commit to for a 5 year rebuild, not a hot-headed DC that’s never been an HC in college.
