I get a kick out of a lot of you folks who think Fulmer hasn’t done well in this position. This time a year ago I’d venture to say most people on this site were fans. He’s simply standing behind his man because he thinks it’s what’s best for this football program. I’ll side with him over any of you.

Fulmer wants to keep Gump and he was fine with Barnes leaving for UCLA. Enough said. Boyd and boosters kept Deacon Barnes.

I don’t think Weinke will be apart of the staff going forward. Not convinced Moose is back either. Pruitt’s defense was heading in the right direction in year two. With a normal offseason of development, this defense can be good next year.

I get a kick out of a lot of you folks who think Fulmer hasn’t done well in this position. This time a year ago I’d venture to say most people on this site were fans. Fulmer was wrong about what was best for Tennessee football at the end of his career here. He couldn't let the offense go and it turned stale and ineffective.

Pruitt has burned bridges with boosters and in coaching circles. Fulmer has done great things for this program for sure. But he is not above being wrong. He was wrong about Pruitt, it's turned toxic. You can allow both sides to move on, or keep the course and ride the plane all the way down to earth. Fulmer did that before being fired and he's doing it now.

Wasting your time..I know, and you know...but..

The admin and a frustrated, pissed off, bloodthirsty fanbase have turned a already bad situation into a Superfund site now though. He is a dead man walking at this point..he can not fix this mess, and it is not a question of if, but when he will be fired. I wish those in charge had the sense to see this..but..

I hope someday we get lucky and get a decent coach that people will get behind...I just want peace.

I’m not saying i want to hire just anybody from out there but this whole resume check list is so over blown because there is no science to it.

It's all relative. Everyone dealt with it. Some progressed, many held steady, and us and VU, UK, USC regressed. Great coaching club to be in!

He didn't. He is the same guy, with the same mind and ability. He has put a lot of great and very diverse offenses on the field over his career..so let's really think about why the offense struggled. He didn't get stupid overnight
