I’m not basing the hire on pro results. Moreso on his recruiting and position rankings in college. Anybody have an opinion towards that? I think he brought in some good talent for those A&M OLs but don’t remember them blowing up DLs.

In his first stint at Texas A&M, Turner served as offensive line coach alongside Taylor, then an offensive assistant, and helped the Aggies develop one of the top offenses in the SEC. In 2011, the Aggies allowed just nine sacks on 537 pass attempts, and ranked in the top 25 nationally in total offense (seventh), scoring offense (11th), passing offense (18th) and rushing offense (24th). From 2009-11, the Aggies ranked among the nation's top 25 teams in total offense, averaging more than 440 yards per game each season. The 2009 unit ranked No. 5 nationally at 465.8 yards per game, and the '11 squad ranked seventh at 490.2. During his first stint with the Aggies, Turner helped develop several offensive linemen who would go on to play in the NFL, including first-round picks Luke Joeckel, Jake Matthews and Cedric Ogbuehi.

Best part is A&M didn't enter the SEC until the 2012 season, after Turner left.

I think Crouch is very good against the run. And if we had any pass rush at all we wouldn’t think he’s so bad against the pass. Besides I don’t know any MLB out there these days that can keep up with these guys they are being asked to cover. Offenses just win now

Almost positive they were the first to report Greg Schiano three years ago.
