I hate to say it and Kirby could always Kirby it, but there is a strong chance uga could be in prime position to get to the NC monkey off their back next year.

East will be a cake walk with Trask and maybe Mullen gone.

Auburn has a new coach.
Alabama is losing a ton of talent, and coaches. Probably a new QB.

Fields and Lawrence will be gone from osu/clemson

Meanwhile uga will have JT Daniels back with an ass load of talent both sides of the ball.

I don’t like it.

Texas I suppose does exceed Tennessee in terms of the number of cooks in the kitchen (they are just a way bigger school/alumni base). Since money isn't really an object there, it can lead to them making free-wheeling, risky decisions.

However, I think our people are dumber than theirs, have no self-awareness or situational awareness, are unreasonably risk-averse, and lack seriousness/sense of urgency when it comes to making big decisions. So we've got that going for us, which is nice.

that's a fallacy. at least in regards to the notion that any scenario involving the removal of pruitt is addition by subtraction.

we've proven that isn't the case...basically every time we've changed coaches in the last 12 years.

firing isn't the problem. it's always the hiring.....we have sucked at that, each and every time.....and i'm gonna wager we'll do it again if in that position again.

That bunch isn’t afraid of making moves...I’ll agree. Not always beneficial towards stability.

yep. Bama was no different either. they, like Bama, will need to get lucky.

come to think of it, i'd take some of that luck right about now too.

It's Georgia - something will come up that blocks them. They'll win the East, but perhaps Bryce Young is a stud at Alabama and their defense gets better. Alabama always loses a ton of talent and coaches every year, so that's nothing new. If Georgia makes the playoff, they'll still have to win 2 games to win the title from there. U looks like an up and coming stud at Clemson.

Also, you can't discount the fact that they trip over themselves and have some inexplicable, unpredictable loss (it wouldn't be to us, but perhaps to Kentucky or South Carolina or a team like that) that keeps them out of the CFP.

Sure they’ll win the East that’s a given
Alabama always reloads and doesent miss like everyone else.
They put up the $$ to keep the train rolling because Saban doesent have to go through channels to get it.
They still have talent in the QB room. I think the kid from Cali is still there just waiting his turn. They’ll get Simpson this cycle and keep rolling.
Kirby can’t beat Saban without help from LSU
OSU will reload
JT didn’t do himself any favors in winning the fans over with his performance against Cincy.

Georgia will always Georgia and drop one they shouldn’t.
