Explain to a black families son that we are recruiting that picture.... because you know Kirby, Mullen, and everyone else will be.

Aside from the fact it shows he’s a racist dumbass.

Didn’t Mullen cover up rape?
Didn’t Dabo cover for an assistant who used the N-word to players?
Doesn’t Kirby rock a bowl cut?

Sorry a 20 year old wearing a bad costume doesn’t make him a racist and I sincerely doubt it’ll be an effective negative recruiting tool.

What else are you supposed to do as a Christian? I guess I’m not going to heaven then since I should have easily been in jail for things I did when I was younger and lies I have told. I believe anyone can be forgiven for anything and change their life. My brother would be dead right now if not for getting arrested and being thrown in rehab. Now he is a successful engineer and God loving man. Be careful to judge others as you don’t know anyone’s walk or their relationship with the Lord.
Amen brother..

I'm torn. Listening to the VQ podcast has me feeling a certain way. Is it really a good idea to fire Pruitt this year?

Imagine firing Pruitt and then Henry, Crouch, Bailey, Wright, Key, Beckwith, Hyatt, and others transfer and Brooks asks out of his LOI. Talk about setting back the program. This roster is just an average roster right now, you're killing the new coach if that happens. The new coach then starts with a significant deficit in roster numbers, a serious lack of talent, and very little time to add transfers, especially any good ones, who can help. Such a UT thing for this to be happening when that transfer rule is about to take affect. Just like waiting until 2017 to fire butch the first year of the early signing period.
Most wont transfer if they hire a good coach and quickly after firing Pruitt.

Stop listening to VQ. AP is Pruitts mouthpiece. This players would not leave. Same thing is said every time a change is made. If he gets another year, we aren’t winning more than six. Then our juniors declare anyways and are gone the next year anyways. But then we are left with this average class and another bad one next year. It buried us further to keep him.

And then after 3 years everyone will be on here saying “it doesn’t take 5 years to rebuild why are we only 5-7 or 6-6” and we’ll be discussing coaching candidates..........again.

That says nothing about whether or not we should fire Pruitt. Just my prediction on VN’s future.

I’ll send you my address. Come on by in a black face. That’s not a mistake. No one I know would ever think that is ok or do that. Coward POS.
When I was younger it was more common..... if you dressed up as a black person you idolized then you dressed up as a black person..... Native American.... you might add color to your skin.... there was even some white face done back in the day..... intent is what truly matters.... if he is a racist than other people will no and there will be more evidence out there.

1. They say anything for clicks/listeners.

2. Depending on the hire, this is false. Most, would stay, even if they do leave, Crouch, Wanya, Darnell doesn't hurt, sorry to say, but it doesn't. Get transfers. Lastly, Brooks isn't worth keeping Pruitt. Beckwith's hype has gotten to everyone, so I'm not mad about that either. From a rankings standpoint, yes it would suck, but none of them have done a lick of ****....besides Toot.

3. 2022 class is probably the best we have had in a while, let's not screw it up, go ahead and clean the whole roster and make it purely 2022 kids, lol.

I agree. The only way would be to hire a home run and we know that ain’t happening.

Bring in a decent coach and more aren't going anywhere

We’ve got a few players playing well recently. Mosley, Coleman, and Sutton.... but yea been a min.
Tennessee needs to start having corners drafted. You don't get recruits to commit here because they think there's a good chance they'll be picked up as undrafted FAs.

Since 2007, Tennessee has had 2 CBs drafted...Jonathan Wade and Cam Sutton.

Pugh is an up and coming offensive line coach. People say, “he has only coached 5 years”, but he has moved up every year. He is an offensive line coach and OC at a G5 school.
His offense averaged 27.4 points a game and Troy put up 38 on Coastal Carolina. I would much rather have him than a retread coach. He is young and hungry.
He's only the OC in title. Troy's head coach Chip Lindsay calls the plays.

Now or in 11 months?

Save the 22 class imo and do it :)

Wouldn't all those guys just leave next year if we fired him?

Tennessee isn’t gaining anything by keeping him either.

If you accept his results now your allowing him to stay here until 24 regardless of results. When things don’t change at the end of that year they’ll push for an extension if he doesent get one before then. Stating more time and patience and he’ll get that with our administration.

I can’t stand when people say fake Christian because someone makes one mistake or even several. He forgives us all and knows we will make mistakes. People that think you have to be perfect to be a real Christian drive me crazy. The Devil can get to anyone at anytime when you let your guard down no matter how perfect you think you are but you can always be forgiven and it’s never too late to change.
No one expects him to be perfect but the way he acts comes off very fake.... some of the most evil people in the world have hidden behind religion.... TV evangelicals are some of the main ones.

Losing all of those guys would probably legitimately be the difference between 5 wins and 4 wins. There's only one difference-maker on the list.

Please explain why you all are so willing to give Freeze a second chance and claim he has reformed, but one picture automatically disqualifies this OL coach candidate?

He did this in what, 2010, while still in college?
I agree it shouldn't disqualify him but you can't hire this year, especially after what UT did to that cheerleader recently. The whole University has become bizarro world.

Mimi Groves/UT revoked admission
