Im sure im in the minority on this but here goes. Mark Stoops is a proven .500 coach at Ky. At KY!! I actually think hes a pretty good coach and would be a big upgrade. We could do a lot worse.
Been on the stoops wagon. Actually thing I’m the founder.

Pruitt is one of the the worst college coaches I’ve ever seen. He coaches and manages his roster/staff like it’s high school. Obviously that post was tongue in cheek but there’s not really one candidate that has even been thought of on this bored that i would consider worse than Pruitt.
His in game management is below high school level

Well he's 49-50, so not even a .500 coach. Plus he's 24-42 in the SEC, he's at a good spot. He'd be better off taking a job outside the SEC, think he would do better in a different conference. Not sure he would improve much somewhere else in the SEC.

Agreed-- losing magnifies issues that otherwise would have been minimized. And makes adversaries out of people when working together is the better path forward.

I've lost respect for certain people, and I hope some things stay behind the curtain. This has taken an ugly turn, and it doesn't need to get any worse. I'll leave it at that.

then is it safe to assume some of the things that have been previously reported, shot down, and kicked down the road are true?

If so that’s pretty damn bad and not a good look at all

Good, probably why he was wanting a decision by Wednesday. Guess Baylor put too much on the table.
Buy I thought he had a terrible resume and would not be a good hire? Evidence appears to be that he might be a fairly sought after young coach.

I would quit if we hired Mark Stoops. Couldn't bring myself to watch.

I'd rather they hire Cutcliffe. At least have a chance to get Arch if we were successful.
