Two things can be true. There is a proper balance that must be hit between chaos and order for anything to progress. Chaos is not good, but chaos doesn’t only present opportunity for bad things to happen either. If the right people take the initiative then good things can come out of a chaotic situation. There’s nothing great about how this is all being handled, but that doesn’t mean we couldn’t still fall into a great coach when all is said and done.
I get that hes an upgrade from Pruitt but I think we can do better.
Stoops would have to turn down a huge offer.I kind of agree. Herman would be fine but not sure it's the homerun some in here think. His football mind intrigues me but everything else about him seems kinda underwhelming.
I don't know what a true realistic HR hire looks like in our situation though. I'm convinced it's Freeze but... We may need a sure thing to at least get back to competing for the East. We might end up changing coaches again in a few years, but that risk is present no matter who we hire.
Does it really "look better" to hire a guy that just got fired over a guy that has a troubled past but has rehabilitated himself and currently winning at a smaller program?
Curious... who would you go after?
