I mean Bryce will likely get drafted he's got 8 career INTs in the SEC as a 3 year starter, his stock will hinge on his combined and/or pro day though. If he runs slow or looks bad in drills he may go undrafted, not that he should but because of the team performance the NFL will value his stock lower (like they did Coleman).

He is clearly another guy from Hoover and if we bring him in it clearly shows Pruitt hasn't learned jack **** over the past 3 years. This is a make or break year for him and bringing another one of your boys isn't going to get the job done.

How can you call a guy racist you don't even know? Yes he did something that is 100% wrong, but we don't even know the intent of why he did. The guy has played and coached members of all different races.

Being buddies with Jerry Falwell Jr isn't the only path of forgiveness.

To be fair, a failing first time HC likely doesn't have a deep list of connections. People forget Pruitt himself was coaching HS ball as recently as 2006, his "impressive" staff was the first round and they all have bailed except Weinke & Nieds (so far).

I’m one of the few who jumped off the Freeze train after being on it. It’s not the hooker thing. It’s not even the sanctions thing. It’s how he purposely lied to his players and recruits about the investigation.

That shows a serious character flaw, not just a coach who made a mistake in his personal life or did something to skirt the rules in recruiting. He lied to them to keep them from transferring and to get others to enroll.

I agree tho - this dude in blackface can’t be hired. Would be the easiest negative recruiting tool in all of the southeast.

That wasn't the narrative when we hired the guy. I get it things have changed drastically in last 3 years. But when we hired Pruitt it was talked about how he had all these contacts and all these coaches wanting to work with the guy. Yet all he has done is bring his BOYS up with him.

If you want Billy Napier, don't complain that we are hiring a Billy Napier caliber staff.

I’m not sold in Napier but I’m not sure about this comment. Napier spent several years coaching on the big stage as an assistant. He was an elite recruiter as an assistant especially at the WR position. I suspect he has a ton of connections from his time at Clemson, Bama and AZ St that he would have a good staff.

A guy that I think would be a easy transition is Bill O Brien. I say that because he could in theory call up his boy Fitzgerald and say do you want to come back to Knoxville and lead this strength staff again.

The irony you say this about Freeze who has YEARS of mistakes yet don't use the same logic with Pugh who has one picture from a costume party when he was in his 20s is baffling. Either everyone makes mistakes and does things not worthy/can repent and grow or no one can...ya wanna give Freeze the benefit of the doubt ya have to be willing to give Pugh the same, that's all that's being said.

What else are you supposed to do as a Christian? I guess I’m not going to heaven then since I should have easily been in jail for things I did when I was younger and lies I have told. I believe anyone can be forgiven for anything and change their life. My brother would be dead right now if not for getting arrested and being thrown in rehab. Now he is a successful engineer and God loving man. Be careful to judge others as you don’t know anyone’s walk or their relationship with the Lord.
