Just stop before you hurt yourself. How many times did they throw his way? How often did they scheme plays away from his side? Where is THAT in your stat sheet?

Hurt myself? šŸ˜‚

On schedule with Fl, Bama, and Georgia his best games are Vandy and Arky.

Well I guess you could count those couple pass breakups against Bama.

Lol. He played hurt all year and shouldn’t have played. You naming the Vandy game is hilarious. We played a high school team that day. Everyone should look like a NFL player that game. No one outplayed Thompson. You are delusional. LMAO at the names you put on this post.

And needed a incompetent QB to help out but hey he’ll be a shutdown corner in the NFL

Literally Bryce was the only competent corner. We are screwed if it's Burrell/Taylor next year

I’m not as worried as I think Burrell and Taylor are corners you can win with if they meet potential. What hurts is I think you might have seen Bryce or Taylor at Saftey to add a playmaking dynamic on backend with Flowers. I think Taylor could be really good at Saftey

Yeah, not dogging Bryce at all. Dude is a VFL all the way. He played injured all year. It's a huge blow to the team and he's by far our best corner. I think he'll be a late round guy. If he had an exceptional year I think he could've gone into the mid rounds 3-5. He strikes me as more 5-7. I hope he tears it up in the NFL

Bryce will get drafted. The players you named will not be drafted. Maybe Tank but he has not played well. I guess you don’t realize that they ask Bryce to cover a whole side of a field many times and put the most on him. And he played through a torn pec all year long which should have made him out the whole year.

I think AT is a safety all day. I suspect coaches can't move him because they don't have anyone who can play corner. Which is why losing McGhee was a huge blow.

They are corners you can win with if you have an elite pass rush. We are far from that and they just don't have the talent for the position with an awful pass rush

He could be if he shows up and shows out.

We’ll see.

I may be wrong but I think Tank and some of the other back end guys are hamstrung by the scheme. It looks like they have too many checks and rules and are playing with their feet set in concrete.

In this modern game, I think even elite corners are going to struggle if there's no pass rush. If you have a good pass rush, it makes mediocre secondary play look good. It's all about the pass rush, especially if you can generate one without blitzing.

Pugh is the OL coach Pruitt has lined up. Pugh has asked for a decision by Wednesday.
The guy has exactly five years of on-field coaching experience and those years came at UTSA, BYU and Troy.

Absolutely pathetic. And once you add in the black face picture, he should be totally disqualified.

Agree you'll see a drop off. But someone like Surtain would still show up as a stud even if Bama had no pass rush

This. It's frustrating. We aren't maximizing our talent because our schemes are too complicated and this has been mentioned multiple times.

Agree. This is why replacing half the staff is awful. You're going to get **** candidates. How is this not painfully obvious to everyone at UT
